  1. Tallest and Shortest:  have the short person looking up at the tall person and a caption saying "How's the weather up there, (name)?"

Best Friends: if it's guy and a girl, a caption that says "Best friends forever?" (with the question mark)

    Most popular: ?

Best all around: "nearly perfect" (kinda cheesy...)

Best eyes: "Look at them peepers!"

Best smile: "miles of smiles" (cheesy, I know)

Best student: "Mr. Smartypants!" or "Miss Smartypants!" (again, kinda cheesy)

    Best hair: ?

Best personality: "Mr. Nice Guy" or "Miss Nice..."

Best looking: for a girl, "One hot mama!" ;  for a guy, "Hey, there, handsome!"  (though it's not very original...)

    Best athlete: ?

Best sense of humor: "The next (name of a comedian or good funny actor/actress)"

    Nicest: "Isn't she/he sweet?"

  2. You might try looking at how other photographers have treated the same issues and improve on their techniques.

Some websites with large image galleries are:

    http://istockphoto.com/index.php

    http://www.gettyimages.com/Home.aspx

Enter your words in their search boxes and see what shows up.

By the way, http://istockphoto.com/index.php allows you to license your photographs to others, so your yearbook snapshots may get extra mileage.

    Good Luck!
