Question:

Credit Question?

I am interested in signing up with Dodo Mobile Broadband. They ask for a 24month contract or no contract fee of 25$or30$ a month. They want me to provide them my bank account. Cash payment is not an option

Why do they want to know my bank account? Are they going to automatically take money out of my account at the end of every month? or are they just going to send me a bill?

Anyone signed up to any monthly payment contracts? How does it work?

  1. check out other providers----telstra sends a bill and the payment for the first 12 months the same but this is included with mobile phone bill and home phone. Thereby you get the deduction. I would not allow automatic payments from my bank account. Just not a good idea go with other provider who have other options.

  2. there gona take money out of your bank acccount

  3. Your icon looks like Michael Jackson.  No answer to your credit question though, sorry.

  4. They will direct debit your account when you provide it to them, so each month you will have to make sure you have enough funds in your account to cover the direct debit.

You should also receive an account in the mail showing what your bill is for the month and then it will be debited a couple of weeks later.

I suggest you ask questions before signing any contracts so that you understand what will happen.

  5. I'm not familiar with them BUT, ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY do not give ANYONE your bank account information.  People or companies may ask for your charge card information and, even at that, you need to be careful.  They could be asking that for unscrupulous reasons, trying to commit some fraud on your account.

Like I said, I've never heard of Dodo Mobile Broadband.  Maybe it's in a state other than mine but, I'd not trust anyone asking for your BANK account information.

Curious as I was, I Googled them.  I'm sure you've done that too but, this is what I came up with:

    http://www.dodo.com.au/public.aspx

Maybe you meant they wanted your charge card info to charge you a monthly fee?  Again, do NOT EVER give anyone your BANK account information.
