Cricket bat doesn't work?

Question

i bought a woodworm torch cricket bat a year ago and it was pre knocked in and now wen i middle it goes no where and wen i edge it it goes a mile... shud i get a new one or wat?

Offcourse get a new bat. And this time choose a good bat.

Carve it up for fire wood and buy a bat made from English Willow from a reputable company

Try  showing it to a coach. Ask   for some    experienced local

player's opinion.

An edge  is always fast.

  If you time the ball well,it has to travel  when u middle it.,then the bat is faulty

ya,it needs a new one,& the same happened to my cricket bat so  i gave it to my small bro. & purchased a new one !...

My advice is to take it to a professionial cricekt store as they will know what is wrong and if you need to replace it they can also help you choose a cricket bat which will suit your batting style. I also have a woodworm and I have to say it too is not that spectacular. I find that with a lighter bat with no meat I can hit balls just as far if not further
