  1. Hope this helps answers your question?

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Domestic Partners/Same-s*x Union minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple are legal Domestic Partners/Same-s*x Union.  The couple must have legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.

The Group policy is slightly different because of stricter group terms and conditions including mandatory chaperones, damage deposits and other considerations.

  2. Take a Royal Carraibeen! They are amazing and super fun. I have been on three RCCL and three CCL. Carnival was fun but there way lots of kids. Go to www.cruisecritic.com or try cruisereviews.com I hope this help and hope you have fun

  3. All of the other cruise lines like Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, and Holland America  --- ALL GOOD CRUISE LINES  -- require that at least one passenger be age 21.  The Royal Caribbean web site states: " An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation."  I take that to mean that if you are 21 on the sale date you will be OK to book the cruise.  I suggest that you book directly with one of these cruise lines, either on line or by phone and if the question of your age comes up simply explain that your 21st birthday is 4 or 5 days before the cruise.  They will verify that with your passport and/or other ID when you arrive at the port.

My favorite cruise line is Royal Caribbean because they have a lot of great ships, many just a few years old.  And they have great activities on their ships like the rock climbing wall, roller blading, ice skating, mini-golf, an ice show on some ships, and the flowrider on their Freedom and Liberty ships.  RC caters to young people and families.  I have been on about 6 or 7 RC ships and loved them all.

  4. I've Cruised twice on Royal Carib. and it was Great! If it's your first time, I would suggest you go on one of the bigger ships! Less likely to get sea sick and much more to do! I don't think age will be a problem as there will be plenty of people your age to hang with. Larger boats offer more, Rock Climbing, nite clubs, shows, casino, theater and more.

Also, I don't know what your finances are, but and outside cabin w/deck? is better. You don't want an inside cabin with no view or a cabin with just a port hole!

As to your question about your age (21), I would just  make a call to the cruise line an see what their policy is.

One last thing to consider, and actually very important. I think you said you wanted to go in July? Well your getting pretty close to Hurricane season and you might find it rough going! Best time to sale Carib. is in December!

    Hope this was a Help..........
