  1. cruise, its like a all inclusive but you get to see better places each day, not the same boring resort for a week

  2. The Dominican Republic has many great all-inclusives. I have been on many cruises and done the all-inclusive vacations. Our family LOVED the all-inclusive. Everyone could do their own thing in the resort. They could eat-swim-drink-play whenever and wherever they wanted. The pools at these resorts are huge, winding throughout the resort. The beaches in the Dominican Republic are also larger than most of the other islands.  The sand is nice and there are areas with shade trees for those who need it. All inclusives don't seem as confining as cruises(which we've also done many times)

And since non-motorized water activities are included, we were able to sea kyak, snorkel, learn to sail, take Spanish classes, and a whole lot more.. It can be as active or as relaxing as you want it to be.

  3. all inclusive, you should reaserch the thing first though.

  4. All inclusive hotels are fun. Check out the hotels that belong to RIU or Bavaro   They are great !!

  5. I've done both and enjoy both. All inclusive resorts are fantastic if you pick the right one. Talk to a travel agent who is well travelled themselves. Most have been to different countries and are well acquainted with the different resorts. Since you have gone on cruises, I would recommend nothing less than a five star resort. All the resorts that I have been to in this catagory have large clean pools and a very short walk to the beach.
