I would like to take a cruise from Baltimore to Ireland. Anyone know of any? I could change to a different east coast port if necessary.

  1. There are no cruises to Ireland from Baltimore. There are only two cruise ships that will be servicing Baltimore this summer. Those are the Grandeur of the Seas and the Norwegian Majesty. They mostly have Bermuda or Caribbean cruises, but there are a couple of cruises to Canada / New England.

You really won't find any cruises that go to Ireland from the US. Most of the transatlantic cruises end in Southampton, or in France. So, you'll either have to take one of those and then transfer to another ship that goes to Ireland, or fly to Europe and then cruise to Ireland.

In my opinion, you would be much better off doing a land tour of Ireland anyway.

  2. Most Trans-Atlantic cruises leave from New York City and the Cunard cruise lines does them weekly.  Other cruise lines do them occasionally.  But the transatlantic cruises typically go to England or Spain. So if you want to get to Ireland you will need to take a train from England, OR you can book a second cruise that will take you to several ports in Ireland, plus some other ports.

Cruises leaving from Baltimore typically go to Bermuda or the Bahamas and Caribbean.
