-Crystal Beasts only get crystalised when face up?

-If you Have a crystalised beast and judgement dragons effect activates Ancient city survives.

-U cannot tribute Crystalised beasts for cities 3rd effect (negate)

Jus wonderin if i was the only 1 oblivious lol

  1. 1. It depends on what you mean. If you mean they are destroyed through battle when face down, the rules state that a face down monster is flipped face up, and then damage is calculated. Therefore, in battle, face down CB will still go to the S/T zone when destroyed. Please give an example if you mean something else.

    2. Yes, because everything is destroyed at the same time. Ancient City therefore still has the first effect (it cannot be destroyed when you have a CB in the S/T zone) when Judgment Dragon's effect goes off, and everything will be wiped out except AC-RR.

    3. No, you cannot, because it states on the card "You can send 1 crystal beast MONSTER you control". Crystal beasts in the Spell/Trap zone are not considered monsters, they are Continuous Spell Cards.

  2. 1. yup. if they were destroyed face-down by a card effect, they won't be crystallized. a monster effect normally works while it's face-up (unless it's something like sangan or morphing jar).

    2. ancient city does survive. at the time judgment dragon's effect activates, there were crystal beasts when ancient city was standing and with at least 1, it's not destroyed by a card effect. the crystal beasts will be gone though.

    3. nope. it says "You can send 1 "Crystal Beast" monster you control to the Graveyard to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card and destroy it." notice there's "crystal beast monster" listed
