  1. cuauthemoc is the king of the aztecas, in the time when cortez was trying to conquer. he was burn alive by cortez cause cuauthemoce din't want to tell him where the tresure was at.

  2. you will not get a better explanation than Lain Co above his right

  3. Just to say he was not an Aztec guy, he was an Emperor!!! so was Moctezuma and he never wore the same clothes twice. Aztecs were very clean and even had pipes unknown for the europeans back then.

What won the battle for the Spanish were the diseases they brought from being filthy more than their wapons.

  4. Cuauhtémoc or Cuauhtemotzin (1502–1525) was the Aztec ruler (tlatoani) of Tenochtitlan, the actual Mexico city  from 1520 to 1521. The name Cuāuhtemōc means "One That Has Descended Like an Eagle" in Nahuatl, commonly rendered in English and Spanish as "Falling Eagle".

Cuauhtémoc took power in 1520 as successor of Cuitláhuac, that died defending Mexico Tenochtitlan from the Spaniards and was a nephew of the emperor Moctezuma II, and his young wife was one of Moctezuma's daughters. He ascended to the throne when he was 18 years of age, as his city was being besieged by the Spanish and devastated by an epidemic of smallpox. Probably after the killings in the main temple, there were few Aztec captains available to take the position.

He defend bravely the city, but the Spaniards weapons were superior and the smallpox also helped Hernan Cortes, when the city surrended he was token prisioner and he was not burned alive, just his feet, in order to tell the Spaniards were the treasure from the aztecs was and the exactly location of the gold mines. but he didnt tell them.

He was then forced to go with the Spanish to Honduras, and they executed him in the way, fearing he could organized a militar movement against them.

It is believed he died in Guerrero state in a place named  Ixcateopan.

    Hope that helps
