Does this series show that the Cubs are the superior team in the division? Cubs have outscored(20-6) and outpitched the Brewers and were able to hit both the Brewers' aces.

  1. I'm just enjoying a great season for now! there's alot of baseball left, let's worry about all that stuff come post season.

  2. I wouldn't rush to any judgments about the Cubs being the superior team. They are still only 5-4 against the Brewers, and the regular season is a historically poor indicator of what will happen in the postseason (should these teams meet). If anything, I think that Cubs fans should start to feel more confident about their team's ability to win on the road. These are big road wins for a team that has played considerably better at home this season.

  3. Cubs is no doubt the best team in NL and everyone has been saying that for the whole season.

I like Brewers but they are not yet better than the Cubs, but it is not impossible to catch them up. Just a bad Series, try harder next time.

  4. Wait till the post season and ask again.  Until then anything can happen.  I just hpe the Brewers draw the wild card.

  5. As a Cubs fan I must say, I'll wait until the end of the regular season before I pump my fist into the air.

  6. Actually, as a Cubs fan, I do think that the Cubs are the better team. But I don't think that 3 games can establish superiority.

I think the bigger question might be what will happen to these 2 teams after this series? Will the Cubs build on it, or will they lose 2 of 3 over the weekend? Will the Brewers continue on a down slide, or will they be able to get it back?

The only thing the first 3 games have actually proved to me is that the Cubs were better then the Brewers the last 3 nights. Nothing more, nothing less.

  7. the brewers scoring only 6 runs only proves they are slumping, and in baseball one series does not prove anything with regards of who is better.  Cubs are probably better though.

  8. Nah, it just shows they're having a better week.  Remember last week when they lost 2 of 3 to the Marlins?  Does that mean the Marlins are superior to the Cubs?  By your reasoning, I guess they would.
