Are you kidding me? Cung Le is a world class Sanda legend that has been compared to Liu Hailong.

Ehsan Shafiq can just about be the best in Britain. That's not saying much. I ought to remind you that British Sanda is awful, and it's mainly because of our BCCMA.

Despite what people think Cung Le also practises BJJ and wrestling so even if Ehsan Shafiq happens to somehow be as good as Cing Le in the stand up, it won't matter. Cung Le could easily take him down and submit him within seconds.

Atleast this one's rather different than most.

In Cung Le's childhood, he use to take TKD and I'm sure he was good at dealing with kicks. And In Sanda, he learns to not only deal with them but do takedowns as well, but then again, Ehsan Shafiq does a lot of kicks that people would least recognize, so It's a chance he'd get Cung Le with one of those kicks, but then again, Cung Le would probably be so close up for take downs, Ehsan might not have much of a chance.

It can go either way, it's like a never ending puzzle, but in my opinion, Cung Le because he has shins of fury and although Shafiq has his types of tournys that use a lot of kicks, Cung Le trains for MMA now which is overall fighting, so a low kick or a sweep could end the fight with the snap of a finger!

If it were a fight without sweeps and low kicks, I think ehsan could win it. but with mma rules, and even in sanda, cung le  would just cripple him. ehsan is not as tough as people think, hes good, infact fenominal for taekwondo and kung fu, but he's not really an MMA type of guy. so I would say ultimately cung le would win.
