Curiosity Poked An Eye?

Question

A person was passing by a Mental Institution.

When all of a sudden he heard,

“12… 12… 12…”

He looked around; the sound seemed to have come from behind the tall wooden fence of the Mental Institute.

The planks were so close together, that nothing could be seen.

He noticed a hole where there was once a small knot in the plank.

He put his eye to look through, when all of a sudden someone poked his eye shouting

“13… 13… 13…”
