Curious 8 year old(birds and bees!)?

Is there a web site I can go to, to teach my son about the birds and the bees? He has become very curious about his body and the differences between him and girls.

If you look on Amazon they have a plethora of books about...well...the "human body" (the reproductive system ;]). Maybe you can wait a little before you give him the cup/pencil talk (birds and bees), unless you feel he is ready. It is very uncomfortable to know that your parents did "it".  It is always better if you tell him rather than a site.

You really don't need to go to any websites or books to talk about s*x with your son. Maybe if you want ideas on how to say certain things. But mostly tell him what you feel is appropriate for his age. It really is something that you should always have an open dialogue with your child about, not just one particular talk.

When my kids' ask questions I give them the answer, even if it makes me uncomfortable. I don't want to raise my children to be naive adults because I had told them babies come from the stork because I was too embarassed . You don't have to be vulgar about it, use the proper terms for anatomy and just tell them as much as they want to know.

Usually a child that young doesn't really want all the details just the basics about how he is different from a girl.  

There is a story about a little boy who asked his daddy where he came from so dad told him the complete facts of life.  When dad was finished son said oh, Cindy is from Detroit.
