Current Inappropriate sponsorships....

i have to think of an inapropriate sponsorship for something for a job interview about advertising... it can be to do with anything so if you can think of any please let me know! thank you

  1. Check out some of the advertising during Gossip Girl.  Since GG's advertising promotions themselves are "inappropriate" -- overtly sexual in nature, they target the tween segment, which is not exactly the most appropriate advertising that should be aimed at underaged children -- some advertisers who decide to sponsor the show will most likely be a little risque themselves.  Watch the commercials that fall during that time slot and ask yourself it you would be comfortable with your 12 year old niece purchasing their products.

    Also, for many years, Joe Camel was accused of being designed and utilized to subconsciously target children.  Camel eventually pulled the iconic "spokescamel" over increased public outrage.  Not exactly "current," but its an interesting observation in the history of marketing.

    Even though I'm sure many of them wouldn't mind, b***s and beer aren't really meant for the 13 to 18 market.
