Question:

Curveless Curveball?

I have tryed everything in the world...but no matter what i can't seem to throw a curveball. Either it will slightly move sidways or do nothing at all. What do i do or try??

  1. try not throwing it as hard...you might be overthrowing. when you do that, the pitch loses its break


  2. tryt throwing a knuckle curve i think its alot easier,

    something is probably wrong with your grip on the ball,

    when u throw it you gotta snap your wrist, start it off at a right handed batters shoulder and it should break for a strike that is if your a right handed pitcher if your a left hander its just opposite

  3. Ok this is going to be hard to explain.

    This should give you a nasty 11-5 sharp curve.

    Put your index finger's knuckle on the inside lace in the horseshoe. middle finger on the outside lace. parallel to the seam.

    When you throw it c**k your hand towards your body and roll it off with your middle finger. This should create a straight downward spin.
