Cutest Halloween Costume??

Question

Halloween is right around the corner!!

Ok so not RIGHT around the corner, but close enough for me to start getting excited about a costume for my daughter!! It will be her first halloween! (Her 1st birthday is a day before)

Anyways- anyone else thinking about this? What is your baby going to go as?

Have any cute pictures of your kids in their costumes from past halloweens??

Halloween is my favorite holiday! next comes Christmas.. lol.

My son was BARELY 5 months for his first Halloween (last year) so I had no idea what I was going to dress him as. But.. I ended up getting him a skunk costume. Which was quite fitting b/c at the time.. my son was going through this "stinky gas" phase.. where he would quite literally make all the adults in the room point at one another, and then not believe me when I said "Nope.. that's my son.."

This year, since he'll be 17 months ... I am dressing him as a monkey.. and I am dressing myself up as a banana. So that when we go somewhere.. and I'm holding him, it will look like a little monkey holding a huge banana. =)

*EDIT* Johnny's mom - that's the exact costume I am getting for him! They usually open up a Spirit Halloween store every year around this time, and that's the one they have there. I love it! It's about $50 in store though. =/

*EDIT 2* ... heh.. and yeah, that handout question had me fired up a little bit. Guess some people are too ignorant to understand that sometimes getting temporary help is necessary.. and also that not just "single moms" get it. I know a lot of college students who got those benefits, and entire families who have gotten them. I think I got 21 thumbs up on that, and 4 thumbs down. lol - I know those don't usually mean anything, but in this case, I'd like to think it meant that more people understood the situation than those who judged it. =)

We are going to dress our lil' munchkin as a pumpkin for her first halloween. Me and her father both wore pumpkin costumes for our first halloween and we thought it would be something special.

Next year she and her lil cousin will be Dorothy and The scarecrow

My little girl was born August 2006. Halloween 2006 she went as a Whoopie Cushion.

The next year she went as a fairy.

Not sure this year.. she'll be two and a bit. Might even get into it, she's already a pro at knocking on doors.

my son was a lion last year.  he was about 7 months.  his lion outfit was soooo cute on him!  his cousin was a monkey and it was cute too, except he wouldn't keep the monkey hat on.

we are still thinking of what to do for this year.  i get excited about dressing my son up too!

Old Navy has a lot of cute costumes for only $20.  I got one for my 3-month old son (penguin), there were so many good ones to choose from!

We are dressing our son up as a monkey.  This will be his first Halloween and he'll be 5 months old by then, so we're thinking it will be pretty darn adorable.  Plus, he already looks like a little monkey!  Here is a website where I found some cute costumes and look pretty afforable.

My daughter's first halloween she was dressed as a poodle.  It's normally really cold where we live on Halloween so it was perfect to go over her jacket.

Last year I had two little girls and the oldest wanted to be a lion.  So, I borrowed a really cute lion costume from a friend and it too went over her warm clothes, I drew a nose and whiskers for her and she was happy.  For the baby, I made her a lion tamer.  I made a big top hat and drew a little mustache on her and she wore a bow tie.  I had so many compliments on them, people still remember them and refer to them as the lion and lion tamer.

This year my oldest wants to be the Little Mermaid and I think I'll dress the littlest one as Sabastian the crab, or is he a lobster?  something to that effect anyway!

Halloween is a lot of fun!
