What do you think of them sending Micah Owings to Triple AAA?? I think it was a stupid move. I hope he is back up soon.

  1. Bad move.

  2. he's a good player but i think he needed to go down under for a little while so he can figure out what he is doing wrong. 2 week will do him fine. I think he is just worn out.

Good luck to Micah. I'm sure all the true Dbacks fan will miss him a bunch.

  3. He is good, he will be back.  He just needs to work out a few things.  I feel sorry for the kid, the be told before the game, do good or you will lose your job.  That has to put pressure on you.  The lose last night was not all his fault.  The hits didnt come at the right time.

  4. I am a die hard D'Backs fan, I go to or watch every game. I am glad they sent him down. Look he is 6-9 this year with an era of 5.93. He allowed 8 runs last night, did you watch the game. Petit is way better in the rotation. I love Micah but he needs to go down to work on his mechanics, dont worry, he will be back up in a month or so, hopefully just for bullpen use.

    DBACKS and RAYS IN WS.

  5. they should convert him in to a hitter and right now they could use a bat like his in the lineup

  6. He's a good player, hopefully we could overtake you guys!

  7. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.  I love him and all but he needs the work in a non-stress, non- must win situation.  Like the other 2 said, he will be back up after a few good starts down there.  I think they should convert him to an everyday player, to get his bat in the lineup.

  8. Its a great move. He was 0-7 for his last 10 starts i believe. Give him some time to work his mechanics and maybe, this is a longshot, come back as the next Rick Ankiel. Hes got the pop in his bat so why not. Otherwise AAA was the most logical thing to do in his position.

  9. Stupid move.  Petit is not good enough to be a started.  He will crumbly.  Owings will be back up though.  I think they just want to let him work on his problem without having the stress and pressure on him during these must win games.  I would have sent him to the bull-pen personally, and let him get some more work in there.

  10. why wouldn't they send him down? He isn't doing good at all.
