D3dx9_27.dll file not found?

Question

Apparently it wasn't found when I tried to play the trial version of Spore that I downloaded from the website.

So I went and downloaded the file, unzipped it, and dragged that folder into the System32 thing.

I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it, but it still says it was not found.

Did I not install the file correctly? I need step-by-step help on what to do here! I waited forever for this game to download. Lol.

looks like a DirectX 9 file. Try re-installing DirectX 9.

you can get it from microsoft.
