DHL RECIEVING END PROCESS.?

Question

I wanted to know how the DHL RECIEVING PROCESS WORKS. I'm trying to buy a laptop from a lady that lives in the UK. she wanted to use the DHL UK method to ship it over. I don't know how this works? Since I will be recieving this, what do I do? do i have to sign up for a DHL account? or her being the shipper, has to do all of that? and do i have to send money to her FIRST? or will i see the laptop first? someone help. i don't know first thing about this and i don't want to get scammed. thanks.
