i was wondering how i could rip a copyrighted dvd to my pc to back it up then be able to watch it on my pc with out the disc

  5. You need to buy a dvd ripper

    DVD shrink used to be pretty good but its not updated and doesn;t work with many discs anymore.

    DVD Fab is good and costs aruond $30.

    With this you can backup discs to another DVD or to your PC.

    Please note, legally you can only backup DVDs you own, else it is breaking copyright.
