DVD drive not recognized as RW

Question

Hi,the DVD RW drive on my computer [T42] is regonized by windows [Explorer, Device Manager etc.] as such, yet when I try to burn a DVD it shows up in the burning program [e.g. Nero] as a CD RW only. can't burn DVDs.Anybody has an Idea about that?Thanks,Abi
