DVRs Help? Please?

Question

I have Brighthouse Networks TV and we were thinking of getting the DVR w/ brighthouse... should i do that or go with TIVO? Tell me which you choose and why... thanks :)

Although TiVo is more expensive you get what you pay for.

Tivo = subscription + buy the equipment

Cable company = their equipment, and if the hard drive crashes (and they do from time to time) they replace it no charge
