DWills/CP3?

Question

This argument has been going on since they have been drafted, and it's not going to end soon. Each side has their claims, and each side has ways to make the other look worse.

But let's be honest, they are both great players. Both of them will lead their teams to the top spots in the west, and they'll probably play eachother in the playoffs next year.

I think that would show something. Deron Williams has the advantage because Paul cannot play other explosive point guards. This year he brought the Hornets past an old Kidd, but when it came time to speedy Tony Parker his team was knocked out. This match-up deffinently had a large contribution to the end result.

If Paul was to play Williams in the playoffs, the Jazz would obviously come out victorious. Paul cannot contain other top caliber young PGs.

Paul is a number guy, but his games against other top notch point gaurds are just not up to par. He has better numbers than DWills, but he cannot play against him in succession.

I wouldnt blame Paul on the lost to San-Antonio...Considering he out played Parker in that series...Getting to a game 7 with the spurs, out did the medias expectations.....Both are great players, It's hard to knock either players game, Williams Just doesnt get as much respect from the media, as paul...but as we know the media is full of c**p anyways!

i agree with you and i've always knew that deron williams was better and will always be better DWILL owns cp3. and Deron did better than chris yesterday vs canada. Dwill had 14 points and 6 assists and chris paul had 11 points and 8 asssists. sp that says DWILL is better.

As a PG, you cannot be any better. Not even D will Arenas, Iverson, Kidd, or Lil' nash. Why?

How many PGs have led the league in both steals and assists in the same year?

How many PGs have finished second in MVP voting that have just been in the league for 2 years?

How many PGs have gotten 20's, 10's in the past ten years?

How many PGs have led his team to the conference finals as a 23 year-old player?

And how many 6 feet players have been this amazing (Iverson and Tiny Archibold are in this category)?

NBA basketball is a team sport, IT IS NOT A ONE-ON-ONE MATCH! IT IS ABOUT HOW CAN ONE BENEFIT HIS TEAM, THAT IS THE TRUE JOB OF A PG.
