if you would have seen the race everyone in the stands were going crazy. The fans stand out in this one!

Well the fact that he has not won a race since before he left DEI(Dale Earnhardt Inc) it is kind of a big thing for Jr.

Call me crazy, but maybe its the fact that he's been under scrutiny for the past season and a half?

...yes -- but JR is JR and Nascar needs this at this time with all the negative stuff on the COT and that Toyota has some kind of technical advantage due to spending about $500M to $1B to be in Nascar...... that's Fords profit for last 5-10 years.... my 2 cents worth

The winless drought that Jr had.  Anytime a top named driver goes a while without a win, it makes it special win he does.  If/When Mark Martin wins again, I see that one being very special also.

If/When Jr comes back and wins another race here in the next few weeks, there really wont be as much chatter about it.

maybe cause all you haters can keep talking about is how many it's been since he has won so now he won and it's the first of many so get used to it we coagulate your drivers when they win so get over it and quit trying to take it away from us
