Dalglish: Creating chances not good enough

Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish has mentioned that he wants his side to win matches, rather than impress with their style of play and create chances on regular basis.
The Reds have been guilty of profligacy throughout the season, and have struggled to close out the games. Their home form in particular has remained an area of concern for Dalglish. At Anfield, the Reds have only managed to secure five wins in 17 matches,
and were held on to a draw on 9 occasions, besides suffering 3 defeats.
Currently, they are lying at the eighth place in the league table with 49 points, and will play four more league games before the end of the season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, who have only scored 40 goals in total during their league campaign, have also been unfortunate and hit the frame of the goal more than any other team in the Premier League this season.
However, the Scott wants his side to improve on their finishing and mentioned that he is willing to accept a ‘rubbish game’ from them, if it means that they will be able to get the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 done. He set his focus on the Reds remaining league fixtures, and wants
them to wind up the season on a high.
The Merseyside team will play Norwich City, Fulham, Chelsea and Swansea City in their final four games.
Dalglish told the reporters, “Our incentive is to get as much as we can from every game we play. We want to finish with as many wins and points as we possibly can and the incentive we have is just representing the football club as much as anything else.”
Setting aside their league campaign, all has not been gloomy for the Reds this season. Earlier in February, they ended their six year title drought by winning the League Cup against Cardiff City and will square off against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the final of the FA
Cup on the 5th of May.
Their next match is against the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Canaries-c38723 on Saturday, who can get level on points with Liverpool with a win.
The Scott remained hopeful that his side will pull out maximum points from their visit to Carrow Road, and praised their focus and determination on the field, throughout the season.
He remarked, “It is great credit to the players that they continue to get in there and try their best to win the matches. They show great resolve and determination - but I am repeating myself. We know that they are good players and that is not being arrogant
or big-headed.”
