dana white is a chump, he acts as if he made fighting what it is today, theres no doubt he did some good promoting, but the fighters is what makes mma so good and he always needs to be in the spot light. ALOT of really good international fighters dont want to fight for him. Fedor said he wanted to fight the best in the world, not just americans, thats why he is with affliction right now, and not the ufc.

Dana White already denied rumours about a tv deal, a partnership with wwe, signing floyd mayweather or that the company is gonna go public. so unless he's lying (which of course is possible) its not any of those things.

like someone else said, it could be in regards to the NY state athletic commision sanctioning MMA, but who knows.

Dana is still supposed to make an announcement today - NY Athletic Commission isn't it.

If MMA was sanctioned in NY it wouldn't "change MMA for the next 5 years".  Would it?  I can't believe he'd hype this so much to announce that...the thing isn't even out of commitee yet.  It's just coincidental timing.

I hope it's not that stupid merchandise deal for UFC action figures and T-Shirts you can buy at department stores.  Christ that would suck.

I'm thinking the UFC is opening up for "super-fights".  They've let so many fighters go because there weren't enough fights for these guys to make $ that they need to have more events.  Plus EVERYBODY wants Fedor to fight in UFC.  Couture and others wanted to fight outside UFC but couldn't.  There are a lot of reasons to open up to non-UFC fighters as headline fights or even as undercard fights.

The New York athletic commision announced yesterday that they were undecided on wether to sanction mma , but they did

say they will hold another vote next week.

Dana's announcment has been moved to next wednesday and the NYSAC's next vote is next tuesday.

Hey Tao remember how hyped his last BIG announcment was and it turned out to be the budlight sponsorship.

BTW let us now what TODAYS big announment turns out to be.
