Dance 6th graders what songs?

i am the dj for the 2008 6th grade dance i need some songs what do you kids like. i asked some kids they said they like hip hop like sean paul and daddy yankee about half the kids in 6th grade are hispanic so some asked for hispanic artist like don omar and wisin y yandel or something and some kids asked for duranguense music so what songs do i get for the party

my school had a grade5-7 dance and i can remember some songs that the dj played and a few songs are from my welcome to grade8dance:

fast songs:

elevator

love song (its kinda in between fast and slow so it didn't work out to well)

break the ice

what time is it (HSM)

slow songs

innocence

we belong together

and in the grade8 dance they played the chicken dance so people wouldnt feel so emmbrassed to dance infront of people. (it worked =))

I wouldn't put too much spanish music in because the other kids will be confused and probably won't dance if there aren't a lot of songs they know.

Things that are on disney are a safe bet... jonas brothers, miley cyrus, jordin sparks, chris brown, rhianna, taylor uhm.... swift?

Yeah, things like that, anything without swears or too focused on s*x, really. But all those artists are safe =D
