Dance anyone?

Question

I love dance with a passion that cannot be described. Right now dance is over for me and i am completely bored without it. I cannot wait till next dance season. Anyone want to talk about their dance expiriences?

why not. I started dancing when I was 4 years old and I haven't stopped since then(I am 14). I take regular class and do recital and I am on the competition team and I am in a performing arts company that does a Christmas show every year. last year for competition we were invited to dance at Disney World and it was amazing although it was really hot. It was middle of July in Florida with bright stage lights. outside. gone to lots of competitions national grand champions in two categories lots of awards. blahblahblah.

Sure, I deffinately know how you feel dance is over for me too. Its so boring without having it. I remeber when I first joined dance (not that long ago lol 2 years) The very fist performance I was in was the Nutcracker suite. I had three roles. one of the guests, one of the mice, and the chinese tea performer. So all the parts I was in went pretty well, until the chinese dance. We went out on stage and we were going to do a magic trick where we would bring out a huge box and lift and no one would be in it then spin it around and at the end a litlte girl dancer would jump out. Well the little girl was put in the box wrong. We were on stage and my instructor (who was the othe chinese dancer) I tried lifting the box and we couldnt I had a horrified look on my face and I almost cried. Then this year I went to a dance competition and I was doing a tap solo, in mid dance I forgot one part and had to make 10 seconds up right then I was scared. My very first competition and I screwed it up was all I was thinking. I got second place in 15 and older tap solos.
