Question:

Dancer's Inner Hip Popping?

Usually after I wake up and before I go to bed I could essentially push my knees down to the floor while lying down and my inner hip (between the inner thigh and testis area--excuse my bluntness) pop. It became habit like cracking my knuckles. However, recently I've been able to do it more often. If I stand parallel, then turn out one knee and thrust my pelvis forward I can get it to pop. It's like I just keep pushing until finally it gives. Is this normal? I have to do it usually because if I don't it will limit my range of motion.

  1. Same thing with me in my thigh as well as with my back. I am a gymnast and cant even do a backwalkover without popping two places in my back. I dont really understand it. Im sorry I dont have an answer for you. It does become a habit.
