Danger phone call!?

these days i have been receiving strange message from my friend and they say its was from somebody else who sent it to them also.... it says, ' WARNING!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT RECEIVE OR HEAR THE PHONE CALL WITH LONG NUMBER! THAT IS A DANGER CALL. WHO RECEIVE THAT CALL WILL BE IN TROUBLE!!! BELIEVE ME 100% N SEND TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!'... now, most of us r terrified bout de msg whether its true o not? can any1 giv any idea or advices to me??? please...... i'm terrified too..... =(

There's nothing bad going to happen to you for listening to a phone call.

"phone call with long number"? this sounds to me to be a reference to a scam involving over-seas calls. If you don't try to participate in this scam, they won't be able to rip you off.

What this seems like to me, more than anything, is the phone equivalent of email hoaxes. Especially the "send this to everyone!!!" and the insanse sense of urgency and danger.

Thus, the thing to do is to delete the message, and get on with life.

Please do not send it on to anyone. Let it die.
