Actually, I kinda agree with you. He is not that much of a good actor. Now, I don't think he's that bad either. But between bad and good, I tend to lean more on the "bad" side. I mean, he's no Haley Joel Osmont.

EDIT: I so agree with Rook above me. He usually starts off shaky and unconvincing but as the movie progresses, so does his acting. But still, overall he's not really a good actor.

EDIT: I also agree with Nikole. below me. He did show an improvement from each HarPot movie to another. His performance in the Order of the Phoenix was at least better than in the Sorcerer's Stone or the Chamber of Secrets.

In his movies, the acting usually starts out a bit shaky but gets better through the movie. He also can't really act out emotions very well but all in all he's pretty good especially since he started at age 11. This is really a difficult question to answer seeing as its an opinion.

He is a very diverse actor, and works very hard at what he does. Someday when people realize that, they will see a wonderful, hard working actor. From My Boy Jack To Equus and Beyond, he is not just about Harry Potter.

In my opinion I think he's a good actor. I've only seen him in the Harry Potter movies, but I hope to see him in Equus, which will give me a better idea of his acting skills.
