  1. I am in Lakeland, FL.  You can go to www.myflorida.com and you can find a link to DCF (Dept.of Children and Families) you can do a search in your area for daycare's that are licensed.  From there, you will have to do your own research.

You can ask around to friends/family for references as well.

  2. DayCare in Florida.com

  3. try to go with a center that is accreditted by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). Centers with this accreditation adhere to stricter guidelines than just being licensed.  NAEYC centers go above and beyond to make sure children are given high quality care.

  4. call coordinated child care ccc and they will help you they have offices in st pete on 68 st and 66 st good luck.

  5. All daycare have to been licensed through the State.  I am not sure where, call your local school district, they can probably direct you in the right place.  When your at your Doctor's office, ask some of the of other woman if they know of any day care centers, ask the nurses and doctors too.  These people can be your best recommendation.  I know everything will turn out fine with your baby and Good Luck.
