Diploma in childcare and education?

can i become a teaching assistant after i complete this course. is this qualification enough?

Childcare is not the same as K-12, which requires a B.A. in education and specializing in the subject you want to teach, plus, you need to be certified in the state you wish to teach in (licensure).  You may have a certificate in Childcare, but that in itself doesn't allow you to teach.  You also need to complete more than a single course to qualify as a child care provider.  See details for your individual state for requirements.
