Dead BEETLES in my backyard?

im finding dead beetles in my backyard..this is the 4rth one i've found in the same spot in the same month.... i know my neighbors arent doing anything cause i know them... so whats causing them to die and end up in the same spot flipped over? it is a Japanese Beetle..

  1. could be that you have a nematode in your soil that is praying on them. The grubs of the j*p beetle are a pest generally causing brown spots on your lawn. Someone (neighbors maybe?) could have treated their lawn with the nematodes and they have spread to your side... possibly... although the nematode can occur naturally. Not sure to be honest!
