  1. tax, license, title, any documentation fees.

if youre paying cash, ask for an out the door price.  otherwise if youre getting a loan, sit down and talk with them.  they can give you a pretty accurate estimate

  2. Yes.  In most cases sales tax at minimum.  Most dealerships will also charge destination (shipping), paperwork fees, and setup.

Motorcycles are shipped in crates not fully assembled.  The dealership has to assemble and test ride the bike before selling.  Make sure bike doesn't fall apart when riding down the road at 60mph.

If a bike has been sitting on their lot for awhile they will charge less.  Remember they are making money on MSRP, everything else is icing on the cake to them.

The new ninja 250 is a big seller, at least here in Hawaii it is.  The dealerships here sell four units a day.  People here have no choice,  $5000 out the door.

  3. Yep, and those Ninjas are HOT property. If you don't buy it the next five people thru the door will, so don;t expect a deal. The doc is a rip off period. Its OK to be ripped 100$ but any more is just that dealer s******g you to the floor and laughing. Beware what other stunt they are pulling if they "doc " you excessively. Forget the "company maintenance plan". It is another way to make a fast buck for them, period. Extended warranty through Kawasaki is probably all right if you keep the bike. Often you have a year to make up your mind.

Its a great bike, buy a helmet and enjoy.
