Debating on HP or Toshiba?

Okay, so I'm debating on an HP dv6985se Toshiba a305D-s6849. The HP is $799 and the Toshiba is $749.99. Here are the links to each of the links to each of the laptop's specs:

The HP is definitely good if you are into gaming, as the Core 2 Duo works up to 40% faster than the AMD in the Toshiba. But be aware that HP/Compaq are built with defects which cause them to overheat, symptoms won't be shown until later use.
