Even if the description is good you cannot see the product on a web site and you may end up disappointed. The answer above is good- it makes sense to go out and look at various types. Rather than pay up to a ridiculous £90 for a ton bag you can find decorative gravel that is supposed to be concreting grade and use that. This retails at around £30 for a ton bag- more reasonable. Make sure that it isn't too small that it encourages weed growth, and that you hose it down before using it to remove any soil or dust, again to prevent weeds growing. Good luck.

Try places like Travis Perkins or Jewsons builder centre's if you have them, they are cheaper than garden centres or DIY stores like B&Q.
