Degree question?

If I went for a degree do I need to just go straight for the degree I want or do I have to go in order.

For example..if I went STRAIGHT for a Bachler's degree in computer science then can I do that and will the other degree's get issued to me as I make my way towards the degree I want? Or do I have to seperately go for one degree at a time? Thanks.

You usually have to do one degree at a time.

Sometimes there are schools/programs that allow you to earn a Bachelor's and then a Master's as part as a combined 5 year program.  And then some schools allow you to earn your Master's as part of the PhD programs.

Or, you can just get a Bachelor's, then a Master's, then a PhD all separately.
