Delinquent real estate tax?

i had not paid last years school districts tax of 704 dollars--the district gave it to collection agency which now gave me summons for court date and a bill for 1300 dollars---almost 200 percent interest n penalties---y dont they jus come to my home beat me n take my things---thats rediculus 200 percent---anyonehave any suggestions to help me out or jus pay it

Just pay it. You can't beat taxes... Well, it can be done, but it's a pain in the butt and you'll likely be in and out of court a few times dealing with it. Just pay it and call it a lesson learned...

Btw... one year and they're already harping on you like that? wow... I never heard of them doing it so quickly. I've heard of 2-3-4 years, but not one.... da gubments hungry, better feed them lions!
