Detect screen damage?

i just got a sony bravia, and before having fun with it, the TV plug went in and out several times, resulting in the TV turning on and off twice while it's on, not on stand by. so i'm really scared the screen was damaged, is there a method i can used to see if there are any damages to the screen? like a picture i can display to see if all the TV colours are still working and everything is fine

I am sure that the television is fine, there is no self test for this unit.  You will likely have to connect some video feed of some sort to actually test it though.
