Why hasn't Hasek seen the ice much, if at all this postseason? Ozzy is doing well, but they alternated very frequently in the regular season...

  1. although i like hasek better, he has been weak this season. he was 2-2 in the preds series. osgood has been much, much better.

d@mn, i wish hasek played in our series.

  2. At this point in the season, you ride the hot goalie and Osgood is definitely hot right now. So far in the playoffs he is 9-2 with a 1.27 GAA and a .927 save percentage. Those numbers are outstanding and at the top of all categories for playoff goaltenders. Even in both losses, he kept the Wings in the game and gave the offense the chance to win it.

Right now, he is the man and will have to be if the Wings want to win the cup.

  3. he has been, but was pulled early in the playoffs and they went with Osgood cause he was playing well

  4. Hasek lost the Wings two games in the first round of playoffs and jeopardized the rest of the series. Hasek was pulled in game 4 and since then Osgood has been in net playing solid.

  5. ozzy won because he was playing so good.hasek will play if needed.

  6. I'm assuming because Osgood has been playing so well. That, and the fact that stability in net is huge, and switching back and forth shows a lack of decisiveness.

  7. Babcock said it was Ozzies net to lose........he will play Osgood over Hasek as long as Oz performs.

  8. What everybody above me said, he was pulled for doing badly in the other 2 series

  9. hahaha. have you seen the dominator on the bench since he got pulled, and also did you see that last game he got pulled from?

trust in detroit. when they feel the need to put hasek in, he'll see some ice.

basically hasekadactil is of frail mind right now. but he's being a good goalie and taking one for the team.
