Dexedrine Spansules?

My doctor was going to up my dosage of Dexedrine from 10 mg/morning 5mg/afternoon to 10mg/morning 10mg/afternoon. He did that, but instead of regular Dexedrine he put me on the 10 mg spansules. He said to take 1 in the morning and one at noon. Aren't the spansules supposed to be a lot different? Does anyone else take the spansules twice a day?

No the dexedrine spansules has the same API as the Dexedrine capsoules and no difference except different shape of the medicine
