had anyone here gone through dgca medical exam ?

can u please tell me what are the tests performed to get a dgca class 1 medical?? specially test for lungs.

  1. Height, weight and chest (normal/expanded).

    Eyes 6/6 without correction. Clear and not infected.

    Ears nose and throat - no DNS, ear canals open, ear drums unruptured and no other infections.

    Heart and lungs - sound and in perfect condition. No hyper-tension no cardiac problems. Lungs clear.

    Body - sound, injury and deformities free.

    Skin clear and no infections.

    Blood - normal, no infections and no sugar.

    Lungs: there is a pressure test in which your nostrils are pinched shut and you have to blow into a tube containing mercury. For this, if you practice holding your breath for about

    60 seconds, you will pass it easily.
