Just wondering if anyone here uses Diamonds or Jewelry as an investment. If so how does it work? How well does it work?

Even if you don't what are your thoughts?

  1. I don't.  They are highly portable, you could put a fortune in your pocket and go anywhere in the world.  But they are not particularly liquid.  To sell, you will almost certainly have to involve a jeweler.  High-quality stones or jewelry are big investments, you might not want to trade them for a loaf of bread.

  2. deff. yes to that....

    cause jewelry doesnt decrease vaule.

like i got a bently and evertime you floss on

someone, thats costin you 100$ but dont buy

jewerl if you cant buy 3 of that one item...cause you

always have to leave money in ur pocket for some things.

  3. Please avoid it .

Diamonds and jewelry never keep their value, you will loss your money.

    please invest in gold ,stocks.

but you still to do your own study, and seek professional help.

you need to invest in long term, safe, health care stocks like jnj , as example

    best luck in your investment

  4. There is a tremendous mark-up between wholesale and retail prices for diamonds. You should expect to get approximately half the retail price when selling. That means the price of a diamond has to double before you can sell it back for the price you sold it.  Other jewelry is usually even harder to sell.   I have bought two diamond rings for my wife and she loves them. However, I don't think of them as investments. Diamond prices over the recent 25 years have not kept up with inflation, so don't expect great increases in price in the future.

  5. give me detail wht u want
