Diaper rash? and spaghetti o's?

my got a bad diaper rash and he never gets them... its really red been putting diaper cream on it .. he loves the bath and starting screaming when we put him in it .. the rash is kinda between his cheeks... what causes this he is 13 months old always done well , change him often... but he had spaghetti o's for the first them the other day .. could that be it ? how long does it usually last?

It's probably from the acid in the spagetti o's. It'll go away after a couple of days. It should be getting better already with the cream. If it doesn't start looking better, take him to the doctor just in case it's a yeast infection. I have heard of people putting plain yogurt on it, you could try that, or oatmeal baths.

It might be an allergy to the spaghetti o's. There's a lot of preservatives in them, so he may be reacting to that. If you keep up with the zinc oxide cream on his bum it should be gone within 48 hours.

Maybe his stomache isn't ready for the acid in the spaghetti sauce. That happened to my son the first time he had cantalope.  his rash lasted about 3 days.

it could be the spaghetti o's or it could be a yeast infection, yes little boys get them too.  take him to the doc and they should give you a cream to put on it. meanwhile even though he screams he has to have a bath because you need to keep the area clean, just make sure you dry it well. leaving it wet can cause a bigger problem than the one you've got.
