Question:

Did I blow my amp?!?

My amp has power running to it (ive checked) all the fuses are fine (i even replaced them just incase) but my amp wont work. It wont even turn the power light on but i know theres power to it the ground is hooked up and everything i dont know what else could be wrong other than it being blow. Ive disconnected all the cables and reconnected them jsut incase the were loose but there not did i blow it?! (its a 2 channel baja 400 watt amp)

  1. Baja amps are as cheap as they come so it would be no great surprise if it's burned up. It's a "throw-away" brand anyway. Much like audiobahn, Pyramid, legacy, Boss, etc. You get what you pay for.


  2. Be sure to measure 12volts on the remote wire.  

  3. like the one guy said, check your voltage, 12-14 volts is what your amp should be getting. assuming your ground is secure the only other thing i would do is check the fuses. otherwise its prolly blown.

  4. sounds blown to me...try installing it in some one elses car if it still doesnt work then trash it.
