Did I get jipped?

I bought this 1g sd card off of ebay and I put it in my camera and it doesn't work. If I put it in when I have it off, It wont turn on. when I put it in when I have it on, it messes up and makes the camera shut off. I've used a sd card before but my last one broke is it my camera or the card?

contact the seller, and send it back, have proof of shipping, delivery confirmation.  file a paypal dispute if needed.

you may have bought a china copy bogus card.
