Did I pick the right gcses?

i'm going to year 10 in september, and i want to be a secondary english teacher.... i took art & food because I enjoy it & history & philosophy and ethics, because i just picked them!

& of course i still have to do maths english & science

i dunno what i should do, i really don't want to take history now because i find it really hard, what is the ideal options to take for an english teacher?

  1. Any subject which is writing based is excellent especially subjects like History, Psychology and English Literature. But you have to remember, a qualification doesn't matter if you get something that out-does it so if you're doing your a-levels in 2 years, no-one will care about your GCSE's. Just make sure you get good grades! Good luck! :)
