Did Lucifer create the earth?

all right.. this might sound crazy to religious people, but i am not a Christian or a follower of religion.Anyways.. My question is, is it possible that Lucifer created the earth? Because his name means "the light giver" or the "light bearer" in Latin.. and the story of his fall from Heaven and the creation of mankind makes sense [maybe not according to christian belief but w/e] that with his fall, there was light, because God said "let there be light"... so basically, we are all Lucifer, in a way? and the story of lucifer rebelling against God is mankind's search for freedom?

I feel kinda awkward thinking that something everyone believes is "evil" could be that closely intertwined with us [if that makes sense...] so i need justification...

No, God created the Earth. God created Lucifer, too. But Lucifer did create Satan.

According to gnostics and their teachings, the demiurge (the creator god) is the evil one (not Satan, they don't have this notion). He created us just to worship him. Lucifer, disguised as the serpent (you'll find the serpent as a symbol of wisdom, knowledge in many cultures and religions, especially the so-called "pagan" or heathen), came to us and gave us the "Light" (ie, the wisdom to discerne between good and evil, he helped us open our eyes). When the Demiurge realized the fact that now humankind has a free-will of their own, feared them, considering that they found the truth and so he forbade us the Heaven. He feared that we would eat from the Tree of Life and Death and live forever as gods.

1) It says nowhere in the Bible that Satan was the greatest angel.

2) Yes, Lucifer means light-bearer, but since this name does not refer to Satan but to the king of Babylon, it is not relevant.

3) The Bible says God created the world in its VERY FIRST SENTENCE.

If you go by the Bible, how could there be confusion about this?

Anyway, in short, no, Lucifer did not create the earth.
