Did my hair look better blond?

Question

I had very nice blond hair when i was 15, i then got bored and dyed it dark brown. 3 years later im still dark brown as ive had many failed attemps of going back to blond.

Did my hair look better when i was younger or is it better being dark?

I personally think you look better dark, but you look good blond too. What do you mean by you've been having trouble going back blond? If you mean it won't dye back blond and you're just using normal hair dye, its because unfortunately you'll need to bleach it back to a lighter colour. Because you have dyed it dark for so long the dye has built up on your hair. Get it lightened at the hair dresser though, as I had the same problem as you ( dyed dark, but naturally light haired, wanting to go back! ) and used a home bleaching kit with hideous results! Good luck with what you choose.

I honestly like blonde hair.  I think the brown looks nice, it's not bad or anything.  But, the way i see it, anyone can be a brunette, not everyone can be a blonde though.  Just my opinion.  But you're pretty anyway so It doesn't matter what color your hair is!!
