Question:

Did you feel the earthquake today?

I was about 6 miles from the epicenter, visiting a client. Big adrenaline rush!

Tried to call home but the phone lines were jammed. Turns out, we had some minor breakage, lots of stuff on the floor that didn't belong on the floor, but everyone is okay.

What was it like for you?

  15. Here in Northern California in the SF bay area we had one like 6 months ago i think the same magnitude or around the same. But i seen the news on yours down south. A lot of people here are thinking the bay areas going to have another big one anytime soon but they've been saying that for a while now lol!

  16. Well I was about 350 miles from the epicenter and I didn't feel a thing

  17. ~~Fast and fun ride! I'm about 10 miles from the epicenter and it shook good for about 10 seconds. I was on the computer and listening to ABC news. It took at least two minutes for them to feel it after I did which was interesting. No damage here, except my poor dogs are spooked and they are very barky tonight and clingy! I watched our pictures and lights swing like crazy but nothing came loose. All in all just a wake up call for us to be prepared, we are so lax about getting our emergency kit set up.~~

  18. Haha yes I did. I was sitting on the couch with my sister and a small little one happened and my sister said that it was an earthquake. I doubted her and said it was probably a jet or a plane of some sort. Then a bigger one happened a few seconds later and my dog literally jumped up and ran to the door to get to the street. So i was proven wrong. :) The quake was small where I was so it was very brief and very small.

    Hope I helped!

    Jon :D

  19. nope... here in TX we don't get earthquakes just hurricanes...
